The Retired Iron Show was the vision of a group of tractor enthusiasts in 2018. The show is run by volunteers in an effort to raise funds for the upkeep of the fairgrounds and to provide a location for exhibitors to showcase their equipment.

Spectator donations at the gate (suggested $5 for adults)  offsets the insurance and fairgrounds utilities. In 2018 the cost exceeded the gate but was covered by an individual.  As a first year show with almost no advertising we were pleased with the turnout. 2022 will mark our 4th show and it promises to be bigger than last year.

Visitors to the show will see tractors from the 1920's up through the 1970's along with gas engines, doodle bugs, garden tractors and more

What our visitors are saying

If you were a fan of tractors, the Franklin County Fairgrounds was the place to be during the weekend.
